Returns and Right of Withdrawal
When you shop at www.detfranskemarked.dk, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, during which you can notify us that you regret your purchase and then return the item to us.
The withdrawal period runs from the day you receive the item. If the deadline falls on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve, the deadline is extended to the following working day.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must send us an email and notify us no later than 14 days after receiving the item.
After receiving the item, you may only handle it in a way necessary to determine the item’s nature, characteristics, and the way it functions.
You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the item that results from handling other than what is necessary to establish the item’s nature, characteristics, and functioning. In other words – you may try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.
If the item has been used more than what is described above, we consider it as “used,” which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will not receive the purchase amount back, depending on the item’s market value. We regard used items as having no commercial value.
When it is a simple return/exchange, the cost of return shipping will fall on you – in return, we will pay for sending the new exchanged item back to you.
You bear the risk of the item from the time of delivery, and when returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged.
You cannot withdraw by simply refusing to receive the item without at the same time giving us clear notice.
We do not accept parcels sent COD (cash on delivery).
Complaints
Naturally, there is a 24-month warranty in accordance with applicable consumer law. This means that you can have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded, or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.
Damage to the item(s) as a result of incorrect handling by the customer is not covered by the warranty. Complaints regarding defects must be reported to detfranskemarked.dk within a reasonable time after receiving the item.
If the complaint is justified, we will, of course, refund your (reasonable) shipping costs.
We need the following information when returning items: please describe the issue in as much detail as possible.
Note! We do not accept parcels sent COD or similar. Remember that the item must always be returned in proper packaging.
